Call For Community Interest Programming
Pop Radio 77 is looking to expand its Community Interest Programming or CIP. Why? Because we're interested in content made by local creators. CIP is the name we give to the special programming we air that is of unique interest to our community. These programs cover topics that range from religion, to politics, to social issues, and more. Pop Radio 77's CIP airs every weekend: beginning Sunday mornings, 2am-9am, and resuming Sunday nights, 9pm to 4:30am.
What is Community Interest Programming?
Pop Radio 77 believes in giving airtime to unique voices and new ideas. It's important to us because we want to provide listeners with something special. Covering a range of topics and opinions, CIP provides a platform for talented creators and broadcasters. It's a great way for creators to expand their audience and share their message. CIP consists of programs both nationally syndicated and locally produced.
Pop Radio 77 does not charge for this programming. We provide this programming as a service to our listeners. Pop Radio 77 does not explicitly support or endorse any of the speakers, content, or views expressed in any of the CIP programs.
These are just some of the programs on CIP Currently, Community Interest Programming includes such programs as: Vinyl Impressions, with Martyn Brown. Sing for Joy (produced by St. Olaf College). Tony Evans: The Urban Alternative. And there's so much more to listen to and explore. Tune in and discover new ideas, hear interesting stories, and explore new music and sounds.
How You Can Get Involved
Management welcomes inquiries from listeners that wish to have a show or podcast broadcast. We welcome inquiries from listeners as to what type of content they would like to hear. And we encourage local creators to submit their podcasts. Both may be sent to wpop@popradio77.com. Send us an email today and answer the call for Community Interest Programming.
